• The Shoreline Piano School strongly encourages students and their parents to attend every lesson that has been scheduled. It is vital to the student’s progress that attendance is regular.
• The Shoreline Piano School requires at least 48 hours notice for conflicts with lessons. Any missed lesson other than that will be at full charge. The price of the lesson is for the teacher’s time, not the lesson. Students who are sick on lesson day will be handled on a case by case basis. A credit for the missed lesson will be at Shoreline Piano’s discretion.
• If a student will be absent for an extended period of time (2 weeks or longer), please let us know before the lesson payment is made, so we can schedule make-up lessons during these times.
• If a student fails to practice for several weeks, or is displaying disinterest in the piano, it is our responsibility to communicate this to the parent or guardian. While we do not dismiss students, we take the lesson process seriously, and will work with the parents to develop a practice schedule.
